Welcome to commotion city   
Flower children. Rockers. Poets. Tech Pioneers. San Francisco is all about starting a commotion. Translation: pretty cool place to have an agency partner. BARC began in the late ‘80s in the discipline known as sales promotion. We expanded the definition to encompass any marketing activity that causes a sales commotion around a brand. We’ve done it for leading brands and start-ups. On TV, the web, supermarket shelves and the streets.  We’re Gen Y, Gen X and Baby Boomer consumers who left big agencies and the client side to create a small marketing commotion. Interestingly enough, it has lasted even longer than Flower Power.
